Supporting autistic people in employment is a 2-way process.
AsIAm provide information and advice for both employers and autistic people who are seeking employment or are already in post. The employer has a responsibility to make reasonable accommodations to meet the different requirements of individuals. This might include environmental modifications such as adjusting lighting and providing quiet spaces, flexible working times and allowing input at meetings to be written instead of verbal.
AsIAm also offer advice to autistic people to help them cope in the workplace, ensuring stress is minimised and giving ideas for communication with managers and colleagues.
