On Monday, the Centre shared the Food Pyramid Sorting Activity.

Today’s resource is a less complex version in which children and young people sort food into just 3 groups, supporting them in thinking what should be on a healthy dinner plate.

This is a useful introduction to why it is important to have variety in a meal, without placing pressure on the child or young person to try the different food items.  Next week the Centre will provide ideas on how to gradually introduce new food items, so keep watching this page.
