This month the Centre will have focus on Outdoor Play across its social media pages.
This is in recognition of the importance of children getting outdoors for their physical and emotional health. In the coming months The Centre will be producing a Research Bulletin and full online resource on Outdoor Play, but in the meantime you will get a taster of some of the resources here throughout November.
This Thursday is Outdoor Classroom Day, which is ‘a global movement to make time outdoors part of every child’s day. On two days of action each year, teachers take children outdoors to play and learn. All year round, the Outdoor Classroom Day community campaigns for more time outdoors every day.’ In preparation for this day, you will find lots of fantastic ideas at this link
