The Centre is again sharing this excellent podcast recorded earlier this year.

Dr Catherine Latimer (Middletown Centre for Autism) interviews Dr Helen Lynch (University College Cork) about the importance of play for autistic children.  They discuss inclusive play spaces and Universal Design for playgrounds to support outdoor play.

Listen to the podcast and then remember to access the Centre’s latest resource on Outdoor Play, launched last week. The resource aims to support the delivery of outdoor play in the home, school and community for autistic children and young people by providing a range of activity ideas, advice from parents and professionals, as well as practical strategies and downloadable resources.
