Siblings is the Centre’s theme for January, and this resource aims to foster improved interactions between siblings.

Turn taking is a difficult concept for most children, but can be particularly challenging for autistic children and young people as it requires social understanding and flexible thinking.  These resources will help siblings to play together as they visually clarify whose turn it is.  Written names or photographs can be added to the resources to individualise them.  Remember than turn taking supports can also be used for interactions, conversations and even to show whose turn it is to empty the dishwasher!
