Do you have boxes of loose Lego which is never played with?
Free play with Lego can be confusing for some children, but adding structure through visual instructions may initiate play and bring more enjoyment to the activity. These examples will provide ideas, but you can get creative and make your own! Create an end product for the child to copy, and use photographs or written instructions for each step of the build. Remember these don’t have to be printed out. You can present the visual supports on your phone or other device.
