More Friday findings from the Centre’s survey on ‘Inclusive Education: What Matters Most’. 

Over 800 autistic people, parents and professionals returned responses, and one of the most important findings was: 

77% of parents of autistic children say their child struggles to recognise and regulate their feelings and emotions throughout the day 

This shows the importance of recognising what factors can dysregulate an autistic child or young person, and establishing modifications and supports which can lead to improved regulation.
