16+ Options: Education and Employment
All delegates wanting to attend this event, including the young person with autism, must register for a place.
Leaving Post Primary School can be an anxious time for families and the young person with autism. For many, knowing what opportunities are available within education and employment settings would reduce some of this anxiety.
This would enable the young adult, supported by their parents, carers and educators, make informed choices about which pathway best suits them.
This informative session is open to both the young adult with autism and their parents, carers and educators. It will enable everyone to hear, first-hand, the support available in educational and employment settings as the young adult with autism plans to transition out of Post Primary school.
