One of the keys to happiness and life satisfaction is to feel valued and have a sense of independence in the community.  This session will explore how to facilitate young people with autism to be as independent as possible by teaching them work, self-care and leisure skills.   The more skills one has, the more choices one may have.

Expected Outcomes:
Parents and family members will have an increased understanding of
• The importance of life skills acquisition.
• How to maximise independence.
• How to use children’s and young people’s strengths to help them reach their potential.
