About this course
Autism and Life Skills
This presentation will explore how to facilitate young people with autism to be as independent as possible by teaching them work, personal care and leisure skills and explains why life skills are important for life satisfaction as our young people grow into adulthood.
Expected Outcomes-
Parents and family members will have an increased understanding of:
• How the core difficulties associated with autism affect the development of life skills.
• How to support young people to learn and develop life skills in the home environment.
